Lovely house and great views. Good communication.

Mattresses were very uncomfortable! The downstairs is all wooden flooring (looks lovely) this is great for keeping clean especially with 2 dog BUT it does make some noise, may not be great for families with young babies or light sleepers. We didn't make use of the garden, the house is getting some lovely improvement work but that made it a little unsafe for the dogs HOWEVER there is a lovely patch of green just out the front

- Check in was easy - Fridge was nice and big

- Renovations are obviously undergoing - Cleanliness was poor - Surface of the toilet seat is peeling - Beds were incredibly uncomfortable - No instructions for the heating - No instructions for the shower, spent ages trying to get it working late at night after a long days travel and had to message the host - Very limited cutlery and cooking utensils (4 forks to host 4 adults) - Using the toaster tripped the power repeatedly - No shower gel in the bathroom - Bathroom sink plug missing - One very flat pillow per bed - Doors and floors were quite creaky and we woke each other up by walking downstairs or opening doors early in the morning On their own, these things are very trivial but all together it put a damper on our trip when we paid a great deal for our stay

We had a very good stay at this property in Inverness. The kitchen was nice and well equipped, and we especially liked the garden, which made the place feel homely. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, which added to the overall experience. A pleasant stay that we really enjoyed.

There wasn’t much to dislike. The only small issue was that the bedside table in the bedroom was not well aligned with the bed, and my brother accidentally bumped his head at night. Other than that, everything was fine.

Location & view , hosts were communitive & friendly. Homely feel to property.

Mattress springs not so good so be great to replace ,the house is being renovated, I can see great potential once it’s finished as very noisy floor boards! Will be fabulous once updated & refreshed!!
