Bell Tower

The Bell Tower excelled all our expectations and I can’t wait to return. so cosy and warm, the beds and bedding were so comfortable . The wonderful countryside surrounding the cottage is full of wildlife . Jamie was so helpful and friendly 🤗

Beautiful building. Large living area to relax in. Excellent central heating. As an old building I feared that it may be cold in late autumn but was very comfortable. Excellent communication from the host.

Nasty speed bumps on private road to the building, even when driving very slow.

spacious and nice architecture. friendly place countryside but very close to Hereford’s amenities.

lack of sufficient kindling to get fire alight. no place mats narrow single beds, regular double bed.

Really sweet accommodation, it reminded me a tiny bit of school trip accommodation, lol I don't know why! The bell Tower is like a tardis, it's huge inside, lovely big kitchen, proper dining room etc. We loved the log burner, We loved that everything was very comfortable but not at all fussy. We loved the owner, who couldn't have done more for us, and her sweet dog who played with mine riotously in the courtyard. Gorgeous walks both on the grounds and in the surrounding area. Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely beautiful building, surroundings and accommodation. It's an amazing place to stay with lots of things near by. Great for walking your dog. The fire place is lovely. The owners are very friendly.

We arrived very late because of holdups - they opened up the door, closed the curtains and left lights on for us. Very accommodating and welcome after a fraught journey! The location was lovely - away from the busy roads but only a short drive to Hereford. The kitchen was large and well equipped, the lounge spacious with comfy sofas. Spoke to the lady the next day - she was very friendly and helpful.

Definitely a larger bed in the master bedroom would be perfect - and little things need attention (like not putting a dressing table mirror you cant' see in to when you sit down!) The decor was a bit tired but doesn't need more than a lick of paint and some rugs. It would have been nice to have some information on the property and whether you can walk around the house - where footpaths are and buses run from, nearest shop etc.

Dogs welcome. Historic building, comfortable and cosy. Lawns, fields, loads of wildlife. 10 min walk to excellent pub. Stocked with essentials that you wouldn't want to buy on holiday eg cleaning and washing up materials, dishwasher tabs, and basic seasonings.

Would be even better with a book of simple instructions for the heating but not a criticism as the hosts are nearby and nothing too much trouble.
