Sunnyside House

Location, views, log burner, two bathroom, kitchen area very accommodating, maybe a bigger table that seats six.

Handrail for the stairs, radiator working on the landing, sofas needing updated as we felt they weren’t big enough for our family. Tap in bathroom downstairs at the sink didn’t run hot water.

This was our second visit to the SunnySide house, and it was just as amazing as the first time. It’s truly heartwarming to see that the owner takes great care of the house, making it beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The communication with the owner is also very quick and easy. We can’t wait to return to the house and explore the charming village again.

Cosy and relaxing accomodation for a lovely stay in a beautiful location. We loved exploring the picturesque Gardenstown village, took the nearby coastal route to Crovie, and more further afield along the Moray coast. The sea view from the house was simply stunning to wake up to each morning. Great coastal location if you are a cold water swimmer like myself!

Fab location, beautiful sea view, good size, clean, well equipped kitchen.

Two faults but it didn't cause any hardship. The hot water in the sink wasn't working in the down stairs bathroom, the cold was fine to wash hands and the shower was fab. One cooker knob didn't work. You needed to swap the plastic knob to work the grill and oven. Also one of the double bed seemed short, feet dangling out lol

I stayed here with my family and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Sitting at the dining table in the kitchen was a pleasure with outstanding views of the coastline. The beds are very comfortable. The living room with the open fire was excellent, it might have been a good idea to supply something to cut the logs,but still a great experience trying to light a fire. Overall the break was a great experience, with hosts obviously making a tremendous effort to make your stay,pleasurable. The property is on a bend and on quite a steep hill, so it will give you an opportunity to improve your parking skills. The accommodation has excellent heating controls on each radiator that can be increased or lowered with your fingertips.

The stairs in the property were a slight challenge. I believe they should have a flush fitting on the steps edge.
