Sunnyside House

Very comfortable house with fantastic views of gardenstown. The host had thought of everything. Was definately home from home. The log fire was lovely on a cold night. We would recommend this property to family and friends and hope to book again in the future.

We’re a bit older so the steps were a little challenging as there was no rail. We still loved it.

The fact that the owner controlled the smart heating system from the mobile phone from another location so we couldn’t turn the heating on. After a long 12 hour shift for 3 days we came into a house at 8pm freezing because the owner decided to lock the heating and put it at 15 degrees because we decided on the first night to put the heating on as it was cold and we never got there until 12 at night. We were harassed by text messages from 7am and at 10pm to turn the heating system off. From owners of holiday homes and from staying in numerous holiday homes for work commitments I have never had this issue. I feel more embarrassed for the owner but more so for us that stayed there. Due to that we soon left at 10pm that night as the heating was not getting switched on. Have more photos of this. P.s don’t control every radiator in the house by installing digital smart thermostats on radiators through out the house then trying to dictate people’s room temperatures when your not even in the house. Bear in mind we had an older guy in the house that was on medication and relied on this.

We loved the view from the kitchen and the deck. The accommodation is a good size and had everything we needed. It was cosy and comfortable. Sorry we didn't meet the host, but no complaints at all!

The beds were comfy enough to make my not want to get up in the mornings! the view from the sofa in the kitchen was amazing and the walk down to the village was very short. Location was great!

Lovely home, gorgeous location! We enjoyed a lovely few days away for some R&R!

Very well equipped and spacious cottage with a stunning view and a private parking space. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The cottage and parking space were located on a steep and tight corner - a bit tricky to get in and out of. But definitely worth it for the view!

Ein wunderschöner charmanter schottischer Ort, das Haus ist perfekt und die große Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer ein Traum! Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war toll - wir können diese Location wärmstens empfehlen!
