"Our dog was happy to stay there, sorry we won’t come again"

5.0

The Bed was comfortable

Unfortunately the property was dirty and the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms/ shower are dangerously steep. Kitchen not clean. Wouldn’t cook in a kitchen like that. All the doors very sticky to open. The shower is dirty and had to keep my foot on it as the door kept opening. The stay was £90.- overpriced !!! The next door person wasn’t happy either with her accommodation. The property needs a good sorting out !!!

"Very disappointing which gives a negative impression of the stay and visit to Bath"

5.0

The only thing we liked was the history behind the cottage

Firstly, on arrival no welcome pack. Travelling three hours and no refreshments. The place wasn’t homely. The living room felt like a doctors waiting room. No Netflix only freeview which kept cutting out. The fireplace was a good feature. However, the seating wasn’t comfortable at all and you couldn’t relax after being out all day in Bath exploring. The kitchen was adequate but no instructions for the hob stove. Had to google the make to find out. Rang owners, no reply only until they turned up to clean next door. The heating is on a timer, you can’t change it. It was soo cold in the living room with just one small radiator. To add, the stairs are extremely steep! My husband kept hitting his head as the door to one bedroom was really low, adding equally quirky style of a cottage, needs to be warning sign to keep head low before entering the bedroom. One bedroom was extremely small and all three rooms as advertised are all single beds! The locality is right next to a petrol station which as it’s pros and cons but at 6am every morning you’re woken with loud banging. There is an outdoor area but that’s closed off so if you have a dog, you can’t let it wonder out free will, you have to stand in the front for exercise and to relieve itself. Overall, whilst it has been renovated from being previously a pub, there isn’t really any other positive comments unfortunately.

"fine for what we needed but could be improved"

5.0

The beds where comfortable and clean. There where 3 bedrooms which we appreciated. The location is convenient for Bath and easy to reach from the M4

The location was next to a petrol station and busy road which was not obvious when booking. The crockery and cutlery could be matched a bit better and wasn't clean.

I liked the whole cottage house interior.

I'm sorry but the toilets(both upstairs ans downstairs were dirty. It looked like it wasn't clean upon our arrival. Long black hair I found in the sink-I was a bit disgusted.

Great location and a cosy place to stay. Good value for money

A few more items of crockery/cutlery would have been useful
