Swan walkers cottage

Unfortunately we were unable to stay at all. My wife has mobility issues and could not cope with the uneven floors and all the different levels and steps. I can appreciate it is an old property and not suitable for all but we would not have booked if it had been highlighted in the property listing it was not suitable for us. We tried to give it a fair go but to get from the only bedroom she could get to, the trip from there through the kitchen to the downstairs toilet/ shower presented so many trip hazards it would have been dangerous for her. I would hope reading this the owners would change the listing and offer at least a partial refund of the booking fee. I might add also that the property was not particularly clean.

We didn't do bed and breakfast

Location was nice, but it was difficult to get uber into Bath.

The property is on a main busy and noisy road. It was very smelly, and dated, and generally not very clean. We had to clean the glasses before using them. The cooking equipment also was very old and looked unusable. We found there to be fleas in the bed on the morning after sustaining bites overnight. The linen looked clean on first inspection but the pillow was smelly on one of the beds. One of the mattresses comprised of old yellow foam with chunks out of it. The towels and tea towels smelled damp / musty. We had to find alternate accommodation for our second night booked ( could not bear to get into those beds knowing fleas present) The owner did not reply to my message of concern at the time, nor either even apologise, and has been very rude in a follow up call I made. I would not recommend this property it was expensive and the customer service from the owner appalling. I would strongly recommend reviewing all the comments/ ratings before booking, as we are not the only customers to find this property dirty and with pests in the house evident.

Very charming and sweet little cottage. Everything you need and a very helpful host.

Location was excellent.

It was expensive and dirty. We arrived early and let the owner know that we were there and happy to wait. A woman turned up to clean the unit about 45 min before check in time, complaining that she was only there because we were early. She was aggressive and rude, and we were made to feel unwelcome. Can't recommend this cottage.

Close to Bath. private parking, kitchen units seemed new. 2 bathrooms, Secure

Wasn't very clean Very tired TV only worked through dvd player, and no dvds Impossible to get showers to correct temperature Was right by side of a very busy road, and next door to a shell garage One of the bedrooms had no blind/ curtains so very light in the morning Only 1 wine glass!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, very clean and had great facilities, a powerful shower and great parking!
