Wildwood Cottage with Hot Tub

A very spacious, comfortable stay, we loved the property and would definitely return. A stunning part of the country, beautiful scenery!

We booked to stay at the Wildwood, but there was a burst pipe and we were transferred to Beach House 3, which had the most amazing views of the sea loch and mountains. It was awesome, but the only downfall being is it’s not very private and the other beach houses sit in a row close to one another. So, if you have a dog who is reactive to other dogs, it can be tricky as people can access all sides of your property and there are windows everywhere. Hence the reason we booked the Wildwood property. It didn’t totally ruin our trip but made it less relaxing trying to stop our dog barking at other dogs. The staff were lovely though and quickly resolved issue with burst pipe.

Lovely property, set in a quiet location. We enjoyed the hot tub, which was big enough for eight people. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on new year.

For a property that can accommodate 8 people there needs to be more pots.

It was unexpected to have such a great time. The house is very spacious and good quality . It is located in an isolated area and has a massive hot tub giving extreme privacy vibes. It was easy to check in and no neighbours. Was very warm, equipped with washing machine and drier, dish washer and rest of amenities. Shower pressure the best ever experienced. I felt 6kg lighter after each shower lol. Tidy outside as well and the bins kept separated. Feels out of the world.

I would have preferred to have some basic ingredients in the kitchen. But we went out and got it so no big deal for a couple but could be for other families.

The location and space around the property

Incredibly tired desperately needs a revamp. It is advertised as whole house but the main living room was locked and not available to us there were also two other rooms locked up so it was cramped for 8 people. This should be flagged before booking as it is natural to assume you are getting what is in the pictures. The kitchen was extremely badly equipped and many of the cupboard knobs were loose. Water pressure ridiculously high maybe flag this if there is nothing you can do about it. Garden pretty overgrow.
