"Disappointing for the price paid."

5.0

Space, shower water pressure and hot tub. Would be great to have a canopy over the hot tub as when the rain kicks in, it limits the chances to use the hot tub. The rain does kick in a lot in the highlands

- For the price, the property really needs refurbishing, it’s very old (except bathrooms). - Again for the price, we didn’t get access to the pool & table tennis. - The drains in all 4 bathrooms were really bad that whenever someone showers, water floods up to our ankles which was very uncomfortable and inconvenient. - The house bin is located on the main driveway - as we stayed for 4 nights and the bin wasn’t being picked up, the smell was getting bothersome. - There was no mirror in most rooms (only in bathrooms on top of the wash basin), except the small front twin bedroom from the wardrobe doors. - The oven is really old and slow, it was very difficult to measure the cooking time. - There were no basic cooking condiments (salt/pepper/oil). It’s really annoying to have to buy these essentials just for a short stay. - Upon arriving, the house seemed tidy, unfortunately we didn’t bring any slippers, so we had to walk around with our socks and to our shock, just within 15 mins the bottom of our socks were really brown and disgusting that we had to go out and buy some slippers. I suggest bringing or buying slippers if you decide to stay here. - There were LOTS of dead bugs around the windowsill that I had to vacuum myself. - The carpets don’t seemed to be cleaned for many years. Besides vacuuming, every so often carpets will need to be washed, especially when different guests come in and out often. - Check in/check out time is rather unfair for the price paid. Checking in after 4pm doesn’t really allow you to enjoy or have much time in the property upon arrival. Checking out before 10am is rather limiting to do any activities in the morning prior leaving. I think for the price paid, the standard check in after 3pm and check out before 11am would be more fitting.

"This is a magical spot in the highlands for a large family holiday ."

10.0

It was a a large bungalow so everyone had space to relax and the children could run about happily

We loved this property , we had a small issue which the owners sorted quickly .

"Great location, lovely accommodation."

8.0

Lots of space. Great for children and in a good location

We didn’t have access to the games room. This wasn’t advertised as being part of the package but from reading other reviews, other people had access to it for their stays. contacted the hotel and tried to contact the host but unfortunately couldn’t get more information. We still had a fantastic time.

"Good"

7.0

As a whole it is a lovely location for a family holiday with lots of lovely outdoor areas near by. The house is spacious and good for children.

The oven is highly ineffective and not appropriate for an 8 person house. It is very slow to heat and doesn’t get close to the heat it is supposed to. When we arrived the keys weren’t in the lock box where they were supposed to be, and we had to drive back to the hotel to fetch a spare set. The hotel staff who handled this were lovely and helpful.

"Nice and scenic and quiet area, the property needs a facelift and it should be made clear that local walking is limited"

7.0

Nice and clean and in a good location. Lots of room.

The fridge door was hanging off and only held on with tape. The kitchen door handle was hanging off. The cooker was so small it was inadequate. The games room had a broken pool table with hopeless cues and dented ping pong balls. Externally, there is loads of building work going on in the shape of new properties that limit the amount of local walking available. This property is tired and needs a new kitchen, at the very least. Not even the can opener worked.
