"A great place to stay when the weather throws everything at you."

Comfortable bedroom, well equipped kitchen. Just the general welcoming ambiance. Dog friendly.

A very little niggle about shower pressure , but otherwise everything was really comfortable.

"Brilliant , peaceful"

End of the world small house on a cliff. Beautiful view and a small hidden beach at the botten. Brilliant. Very clean and well maintained. Good internet. Only the water pressure was a bit low. Will definitely book again if there is a place.

"Just perfect."

Beautiful views and in a stunning location, 8b Calbost was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had all of the utensils that you’d hope for, and the log fire (complete with fire starters, kindling and logs) makes the place extra cozy.

"An amazing little cottage in a stunning location"

It's a fantastic little cottage with everything you need and more. It's very nicely decorated and had nice little extras (e.g. XL towels, extra blankets). The welcome pack was much appreciated. The host stays at the end of the road should you need anything. The cottage gives amazing views over the bay so even if the weather isn't great you can see enjoy the nice surroundings without being exposed to the elements. There is a lovely pebbly beach 5-10min walk so you don't have to go far to start exploring Lewis. I even saw eagles from outside the cottage!

The water pressure isn't great but you can get used to it.
