It’s location was quiet and convenient

The facilities could be improved but I appreciate that this is reflected in the cost of renting the house

Fantastic view from the cottage out across the fields. Able to just sit and watch the wildlife in the morning. Heating was very effective (frost every morning!)

Cannot think of anything that was a negative. The only minor thing was the cooker hob. Perhaps it was me, but the use of it is not intuitive. Old man, modern tech = ??????

Basic cottage, great bed, slept like a log after a hard days Salmon fishing, convenient location for Coldstream, Tillmouth Park fishing, parking ok, very good value for two anglers. I slept in the smallest room downstairs which was really nice. I didn’t even bother going upstairs where there were two double rooms, one of which my friend took.

No WiFi. But you can sign up for EE we go for. Week at £9.99. Apart from that the cottage s great value.

Lovely setting\location. Well equipped and comfortable cottage. Plenty of things to do in the area.

Beautiful rural location. Reasonable driving distance to Alnwick Castle, Lindisfarne etc. Edinburgh is a comfortable drive. Small supermarket at Coldstream is open into the evenings.

We knew there was no Wifi, but this is really an essential these days, especially as the phone signal was only ok if you stood on one leg by the window. A few basics in the kitchen like salt, pepper, vinegar, maybe a few dried herbs would be nice

Location Very quiet area

The cottage was very dirty. Windows hadn't been cleaned for months. Window frames rotten. Hairs in beds and bath. We had to clean before using. Cutlery and crockery had to be washed before using.

The shower rail was not fixed and fell down and no handrails to bath or wall so hard to safely manoeuvre in out with hip or knee issues as I have. Kitchen well equipped but house decor dated and not spotless as could be, felt aged use. Settee comfy mock leather, shower electric but adequate though again dated to most No mobile signal forts night but after ok most time, no WiFi..,, starlink is available and would be worth it as imagine many won’t book without it nowadays No reason why any home not have internet today now with that, connectivity easy even in foreign lands as I’ve just set up in greece

Nothing
