Plough Cottage

The perfect cottage in a fantastic location. The owners could not have been more helpful before and after our visit. Everyone in this beautiful village were the friendliest you'll find anywhere.

Liked the upstairs living with great views. Very well equipped kitchen. Excellent bathroom.

Even though it’s very rural village the road and junction the cottage is on can be quite noisy with traffic. Think noticed this more because the windows open because it was hot and also the building work across the road which cannot be helped.

Location is great, very comfortable, very clean and tidy

This property was well equipped and comfortable and in a good location with easy access to both Sheffield and the Peaks.

Lovely location. Generally the house was comfortable and warm.

One or two items were poorer quality. The bed linen in the bunk bedroom. The mattress on the larger bed in that room slopes. A broken shelf in the fridge.

If you’re a group with no children the bunk bed double bed isn’t ideal as it’s low and tricky to get in and out, but really does not detract from the experience/apartment overall.
