Gatekeepers Lodge, Dyrham Park - Private & Self Contained, deluxe accommodation, 15 mins from Bath

We loved the historic nature of the building combined with modern comforts. Every detail was just perfect, from the breakfast provided to the Bluetooth system (quite unexpected in a historic building) The home has been created with absolute excellence.

Beautiful cosy lodge, tastefully renovated in an ideal setting. Met all our needs and more for a 3 night stay in February when the log burner and underfloor heating were much appreciated. The 2 armchairs worked well by the log burner and the cleverly designed fold away table and chairs were useful at mealtimes.The bed was very comfy and the shower in the wet room had plentiful hot water and a good rain-shower head. We came to visit relatives in the area and will definitely book again - and hope to enjoy eating at the outdoor table in warmer weather. We can highly recommend the Gatekeeper's Lodge as an ideal choice for a short stay.

Lovely location, very quiet and not overlooked at all. The property is furnished to a high standard, extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable!

in the evening after sight seeing you want to relax, 2 small chairs not great to watch bit of TV as the tv is on the wall. two operate chairs so can't snuggle with Eire loved one. I know the space is small so the TV would be better in 4th bedroom.
