Great location, lovely property. Very clean and comfortable.

Black Bull Barn was a "home away from home". It was cosy and comfortable, exactly what we needed for a long weekend away. The goodies which we were left was a lovely touch, there were even treats for the dog. The place was so clean, tidy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was also amazing. The place is literally around the corner from town and has everything you need. We had a few drinks at the Black Bull pub and Fish and Chips from the Archway Fish and Chip Shop. It is so conveniently placed for some lovely walks in the area. Having a parking space was also a bonus! I would highly recommend staying here.

I cannot think of anything I didn't like, apart from the sofa being a little uncomfortable, but to me that is petty. As if you are there for the walks like we were, you will barely sit on it. And the hair dryer wasn't very powerful, but again petty as you can bring your own.

Location, cleanliness added extras. A little home from home.

Fantastic location, spotlessly clean and a few goodies left for us on our arrival which was really appreciated. Clear instructions from the owner prior to arrival and recommendations of where to eat. Could park right outside or in the designated parking spot at the back of the property. Lovely walks on the doorstep, especially the viaduct walk. Perfect base to visit places in the Eden Valley and beyond.

Being really picky, the quilt could have been bigger, just about went over the edge of the bed.

Smart, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Off road parking always welcome. 1 min walk to the attractive high street.
