Creber Cottage

Accommodating owners with the property in a lovely setting in the Devon countryside. The property had lots of room and was well equipped. Would happily return.

A beautiful property, clean, well-equipped and with a spectacular over the valley.

Quite hard to find - it would be helpful to add Creber Cottage to the name board at the start of the drive.

Location excellent and the building is fabulous.

Beautiful property with stunning views over the fields.

The twin bedroom was accessible through a double room. This wasn’t ideal for us. Also the local roads were challenging for me who is more used to city driving.

This was an absolutely perfect location for an inter-generational family holiday (six of us). The cottage is well-designed and equipped with everything we needed. The views across the rolling Devon farmlands were stunning and we loved listening to the nearby stream running past our windows. It is well located for outings to Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay and despite inclement weather at times we were able to enjoy a walk across the farmlands and outside play for the children. Our hosts Martyn and Catherine made us feel very welcome.

We cannot single out anything that was not to our liking. Our only challenge on the odd occasion was navigating our way along the single track roads - but we saw this as an adventure and for town-dwellers somewhat of a novelty!

The location was lovely, with rolling hills as far as the eye could see. Peaceful, yet only a short drive to the various towns and seaside resorts. Facilities in the cottage were excellent, fully equipped kitchen. Beds were lovely and comfortable.

This property was perfect in every way. It was clean, well equipped, and beautifully situated. My daughters, 15 and 13, thought it fabulous. We hope that we can return next year. My father, Michael, treated us to this holiday, and the comments are mine (Kate Barham).
