Lovely property, interior design was beautiful and it was very clean.

Only complaint about this property was there was only a bath, and you had to have a sit down shower as there was no screen.

A very convenient and attractively presented cottage which provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Great views too! Highly recommended.

Like other reviewers, we did find the bathroom setup quite problematic—particularly for our group of four adults and a baby. With only a handheld shower over the bath and no screen or curtain, it took us a good two hours each morning to get everyone through the bathroom. This arrangement isn’t very practical, and we noticed signs of water damage to the bathroom floor and the ceiling below, which suggests previous guests have tried to use the handheld shower in a more conventional way. We were a little surprised the owners haven’t addressed this, especially as it seems to be a recurring concern and the current setup risks further damage to the property. There’s enough space for a more functional solution—perhaps even a shower bath with a proper screen—which would make a big difference for guests, especially larger groups or families. We’d happily return as a couple, but for now, we’d have to mark down slightly because of the bathroom situation. With that resolved, it would be an easy 10/10

Well positioned to travel into town or out to the countryside. Lovely rooms, fully functional kitchen and plenty of space to sit and rest or plan the next chapter of the days ahead.

Hosts were friendly & approachable without being intrusive. Perfect balance struck for us!

Some milk in the fridge when we arrived would’ve been nice, so we could have a cuppa after our journey before venturing out, but that’s a tiny inconvenience!

Only handheld shower over a bath. Bath was beautiful however jumping in a shower much more convenient than using handheld.

Location was fine, nice and clean

it was freezing,we had to request for the heating to be left on. There is a stand alone bath with shower taps so you have to kneel in the bath to shower! and water splashes on the floor, it won't be long before they have to replace the wooden floor with tiles. A shower would be far more practicable. Stairs very steep and not suitable with mobility issues.
