"Super sweet little cottage, perfect for couples!"

Beautiful little cottage, very sweet with the foliage and wisteria growing on the outside. Claire was a lovely host! Prepared for us well, and was very gracious. A really great size (spacious but still cozy!) and everything we needed! We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The sofa/ seating area was very cosy, and we appreciated the heater and blankets very much (especially in the loudest thunderstorm we have ever heard!). Nicely and quirkily decorated, the little fairy door, tree wallpaper, and vintage looking wardrobe were so cute! The area was quiet with beautiful scenery, lovely walks and footpaths. Though it's not too far out in the country either, a short (10min) drive and you're literally in Basingstoke town centre. Would really recommend this place to anyone. We are really looking forward to staying here again for a longer period, and hopefully exploring more of what Old Basing offers. Thanks so much for having us!

Would have been nice to know a little bit about the farm/area in a handbook? Like if it's still a working farm or any old photos of it? Would have been nice to have some lighter curtains or blinds underneath the normal black out blinds. Felt a little exposed with the other cars/house close if we opened the blinds, but still have light in the room. But in all honesty, it's a very minor thing and a personal preference!

I chose this location as it had a washer dryer in the cabin. We are travelling so it would have been good to do some washing but the machine wasn’t working. The host did our washing for us and gave us an airier to dry the clothes in the cabin. I would have preferred to do our own washing

Peace and quiet. Nice decor. Well laid out, well stocked. Good access and security.

Sofas were tired and uncomfortable. Shower was too weak.
