Elvington Cottage - Family-friendly cheerful house at the heart of the Cotswolds

Location was ideal for exploring Bourton. Plenty of bathrooms and space in the house for a large group.

Location, very convenient to town centre. The staff very responsive to requests and helpful.

The shower is bit small, difficult to get in and out.

The location and the size of the property.

It wasn't clean. Dust on the shelves and fireplace that you could write your name in, hand print on the TV, dirty socks under the sofa, to name a few things. Considering it's supposed to be deep cleaned hence you can't get in till 5pm! Also, there is a nasty smell in the back of the house, cabbage water smell? Drainage?

Position, literally 10mins by walk away from Bourton centre. Very beautiful cottage, which fit a family of 8. We had a real good time.

Nothing I didn’t like, we just had problem at the beginning with hot water. We didn’t had hot water for the whole first morning but the guy who manage the house, came by and fixed it

The property was very spacious with plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms, parking and great facilities. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage itself and the location.

Small hot water tank cannot support more than 3 people. We ended up with no hot water to shower after 3 people showered.

Great location, comfortable beds and easy access to walks.
