"Friendly hosts, with spotless, warm and well kitted out accomodation. Perfect!"

The cottage was spotless, warm, comfortable and perfectly kitted out for our 3 day break. The hosts were both extremely friendly and helpful and having the option of a friendly pub on site was an added bonus. The landlord very kindly went to a lot of effort to fix my vintage bike during our stay which effectively saved our holiday! I really can't recommend Thompson Arms Cottages highly enough and we will be back!

I have nothing bad to say about our stay - I highly recommend booking in here!

Beautiful cosy sweet cottage, loved fact it was behind closed gates and gated. So very secure, was very clean. Had everything in cottage we needed. Stuart was friendly, very helpful, and a great host. Even swapping us over quickly and efficiently when Boiler stopped working. And Hubby was pleased with his free cold pint. We have an autistic child and it accommodated Charlie brilliantly. We could lock all window and doors with key and it was perfect on one level. We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely time.

"Great for a 2 night stay for a wedding at Sandburn Hall."

The Cottages is a perfect location if you are going to Sandburn Hall and the host is very nice.

Not much is this area so the car is needed to travel somewhere for a meal.
