Great food. Clean, comfortable room. Polite, helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone.

Not recommended if you have large or heavy luggage due to walk from car park over an old cobbled street.

"Comfortable stay to visit family. Lots of beautiful villages around and not too far from York. A car is essential."

"Excellent stay"

Lovely comfortable stay. Great breakfast, and will definitely stay again. Would say you do need a vehicle, which I did arrange after i had booked, so arranged a hire car from the train station. All done through booking.com.
