It was a great location not too far from family in a quiet area of York really friendly and we will stay there again and tell others to stay there

Loved everything about The Piglets - Nip made us very welcome and was so accommodating. This is a great location, picturesque and quiet whilst feeling completely safe and being on a main bus route both towards the coast and York city centre. Everything we could have needed was provided.

I’d be nitpicking if I complained about anything - this is a great place to stay.

So cosy with the very effective underfloor heating. Well appointed kitchen was appreciated even if we didn't really cook. Adorable little piggy decor details Stunning morning views across frosty fields.

Towels have a bit of fabric softener build up/need a hot wash with vinegar to refresh them. Road-entrance sign a bit hard to spot in the dark, we guessed the wrong driveway in both directions, maybe something headlight reflective on the fence? The high-up swing sign is easier to spot in the daylight.

Ideally located for a trip in to York but with benefit of tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle ! The property is very well equipped and has everything you need and very clean and comfortable

It was all perfect

The Piglets is peaceful and cosy, and is well equipped with everything you need for a family break. It’s set on a private enclosure with secure gated entry. Extremely quiet with no road noise at all. The place was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. My little boy appreciated being able to play out in the fantastic garden! The host met us on arrival and showed us round, which was great. He lives next door but didn’t bother us during our stay. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes drive to two big retail parks with shops and restaurants. We didn’t go into York during our stay but I did see a bus just outside on the main road. We would definitely stay again! Thanks to Nipp and Ellie for a lovely stay.
