"Perfectly Peaceful Getaway!"

The perfect, peaceful get away. Ideal for a family stay with children. Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean, picturesque and an added bonus of watching the cows graze at sunset. We will definitely be back.

"Fabulous cottage, rural location but with easy access to the city centre"

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location, surrounded by fields but only a 10 minute drive to the city centre. Very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. Sat out on the patio in the evening with a lovely view and only the bleating of sheep as background noise, perfect.

"Perfect for our stay"

From the beginning to the end of our stay we have really enjoyed everything. The house, whereabouts, the view from the accommodation, the city. And most of all we obtained that peace of soul and mind we were looking for, even if we had had only a short stay. We didn't worry about anything. In the house we had all the information necessary for our stay, also lots of flyers about what we can visit in York. More than this, Nip was very kind to explain about the attractions from city and to answer to all our questions. About the accommodation: impeccably clean, very quiet, fully equipped with everything you need (fridge, oven, cooker, dishwasher, towels, toiletries, dishes, cutlery and many more). Comfy beds and sofa (don't forget your slippers), warm enough, nice view, cozy and nicely decorated. For me it was a piece of heaven, located very close to the city. This accommodation and Nip (who came to welcome us, but also to say Goodbye) were our very first contact with York and this area from the U.K. But we haven't chosen wrong. It's been wonderful! Many thanks, Nip and Ellie!
