The Piglets

The piglets was set in a picturesque farm area, overlooking fields. The bungalow was warm & cosy due to the log burner & underfloor heating. The rooms were spacious, bright, clean & comfortable.

Everything was great & although our plans for the weekend had to change due to the severe weather, the accommodation was unchanged & still made our stay near York, pleasurable..

Perfect location within very easy reach of the city centre. Nip is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome

The piglets is in a very quiet area which is just want we needed. Only a couple of miles from a park and ride at monks cross for easy access to the city centre. The house is beautiful which everything you could possibly need. It is beautifully furnished and the beds are really comfortable. There is a lovely garden area at the back with seating and a table. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit York but have some peace and quiet in the evenings.

The owners were friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely, homely, and quiet setting. It was clean and comfortable, and it felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again.

Great rural and beautiful location yet only 10 minutes from supermarkets, shopping centre and the city centre of York. The whole place was absolutely immaculate, a home from home, and bigger than it looks in the photos. A nice touch to be personally met by the owner and shown around the property. Lovely garden, perfect for the children to play. All facilities that a family need and we could easily have stayed for longer without needing anything extra.
