we absolutely loved this place! immaculate, well presented and has everything you need for a long or short stay! Nip was also very helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this place! it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

"Perfect in every way."

Being cosy, comfortable and well equipped, The Piglets was the ideal base for my short autumn break. The location is perfect for exploring this beautiful county, and for visiting the city of York, which is just a quick bus journey away (bus stop near the end of the drive). A shopping centre, supermarkets and restaurants are all nearby, as is access to the ring road, yet the accommodation is in a quiet, rural location, set back from the road. That said, it didn’t feel at all isolated for me, as a solo traveller. The hosts are very helpful and quick to answer any questions but not at all intrusive. Had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Nothing to dislike.
