Barton Cottage

Superb spot, lovely and quiet. The cottage is like a home from home, apart from the bed linen which is far superior to mine!

The cottage was perfect! We felt completely relaxed and enjoyed discovering the attractions of the surrounding areas.

The fact that we had to leave!

The host Jane was very accommodating. All the cottage was clean and fitted with modern equipment and the welcome pack was extensive. We had a problem at home so we were one day late in arriving. Jane suggested that as she had no one coming after the end of our stay we could stay for an extra day. I thought this was going the extra mile for us. One of the best places we have stayed at and we have stayed at a lot. If you are thinking of staying in this area look up Jane you will not be disappointed.

The cottage is perfectly situated for walking in the Quantocks. It is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. we found the stay extremely comfortable and wanted for nothing. The host was there to meet us, helped us with things in the area, offers cooked meals and generally made us feel very welcome.

I can't think of anything that needed to be different.

The whole cottage was perfect. Everything you could need, wonderful location. We will definitely be staying again.

Attention to detail in equipment and lay out

Barton Cottage is a beautifully appointed single storey barn conversion. Very comfortable double beds in the 2 bedrooms & every thing you could wish for in the kitchen/sitting room. Newly refurbished I think & done to a high standard. Don't be put off by the farm track that leads to the hidden away gem!

Was practically a home from home. Had everything you need, and the facilities provided were very considerate.

Alexa was confused between living room and bedroom, and the remote ceiling lights in the bedroom were a little confusing.
