"A truly perfect place to stay."

A spacious yet cosy cottage. The host was very responsive to our requests and clearly put great effort into decorating the entire place. The fireplace truly brought the Christmas spirit to life. The complimentary hot drinks and snacks were very welcoming, and there was endless entertainment for the whole family. Well situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, it is an excellent base for visiting the surrounding towns. This was the best cottage stay we have had in the UK. Highly recommended, especially for families with children.

Everything, the cottage was lovely, clean and cosy. Our hosts were easy to contact with any questions and the Mill Village estate was lovely, nice setting, great to walk around, everyone friendly, especially in the restaurant on site.

"Cosy cottage in beautiful lakeside"

Location & coziness of the cottage are excellent. Perfect location for visiting Cotswold & set in beautiful lakeside. Fireplace was perfect for very cold night/day. Kitchen was well equipped. Lower Mills guard house is the arrival gate to the cottage.

Quite a number of spiders in the master bedroom. 2nd double room could be better arranged to maximise space for movement into bed and space for a small luggage/overnight bag.

"Carps Rise in Autumn"

The location in the middle of the cotswolds is fantastic. Everything is within easy driving distance. Mill lake estate is sweet and well kept. The house is lovely and has fab views and great facilities. The beds were really comfortable. The log fire is a lovely bonus. Good WiFi I loved the CD player and cds House was decorated comfortably and with some nice style touches

There were some teething problems with the cleaning when we arrived but these were rectified quickly. The sofas didn't suit me- but I'm old and not able to bend and stretch like I used to

The house was well equipped, but we did bring our own tea and coffee - we’re fussy! Also you’ll need to bring your own milk. There was a washing machine, dishwasher and the tablets for both were there ready for you. There were 3 bathrooms. One on the ground floor which was ideal.

There were lots of spindly spiders everywhere, maybe because it was a thatched property?

Fantastic location in a gated area. The cottage was beautiful. Very tastefully decorated. Great communication with the host. The outdoor swimming pool was a real bonus...used in twice. The perfect temperature. Great restaurant on the grounds. Made some fun memories.
