Loved everything about it ! Beautiful decor , plenty of space , clean , homely and cosy with even a Christmas tree, love the welcome book which was also sent as a pdf greatly set out without having to read too much but with lots of information , may not be suitable for anyone elderly as lots of stairs and quit a steep hill for anyone elderly or with any disabilities, but wr all loved it and would definitely stay again , biscuits where a nice touch too thankyou

This was a holiday let so we made our own meals. The house was clean and cosy and the area was central so we was able to leave car and walk to the beautiful historic sights of Whitby.

You need to be fairly fit as Whitby is very steep in parts, but once back at the Stones Throw a soak in the exceptionally deep bath hepled the achey knees. We went as a family and only draw back was waiting to use the bathroom at times, usually in the morning.

It was Halloween when we stayed, there were some nice bat ornaments scattered around the house, made it feel more welcoming.

I would have liked a second bathroom, there were four of us, and it would have been better with a second bathroom. Parking was also a problem.

Bathroom door handle was very loose and was concerned it might come off when shutting the door.

House had everything we would need for a six night stay.

The house was in need of a deep clean, a lot of standing dust in places, sofas hadn't been hoovered full of crumbs etc under the cushions. Bathroom door handle also broken.

We enjoyed the house.The distance to walk to whitby was a very short distance so was good.. on the way back from the town there was a bit of a hill which would be hard for some people to walk up... ... we did enjoy our stay and the fact that it was dog friendly... whitby town is very dog friendly including some shops and pubs.

The lower floor was very stuffy where the washer and tv room were...We didn't like to go down .. apart to put food in the freezer... There was mold on the back of the door coving the washer and freezer and it took your breath away... That was really what spoiled it. Even in the main house air freshners or something made us all itchy...
