The character and charm and remoteness of its location

Could have done with a few better/newer kitchen utensils as we were preparing Christmas dinner and difficult with no sharp knives but that was it as there was an abundance of pots/pans and serve-wear!

the property was in a secluded location that offered great views and a calm and peaceful place to be based . Really good kitchen facilities .

Location. Views of the valley and old church. Lovely walks from door and a chance to see roe deer, squirrels and many birds. The house was warm, comfortable and spacious

it safely very comfortable - like a home from home. beds comfortable. lovely location with countryside on your doorstep. plenty of parking for 4 cars

All was good with the stay. Some aspects of property a bit dated but had everything we needed.

Very spacious, older style but every thing worked. It was a bit like being in a super relaxing time warp. Fantastic setting, loads of wildlife and walks from the doorstep. There was an Aga which was a culinary treat. Cooked the best turkey ever (with a lot of basting?

A comfortable family house that you feel instantly at home in. Well stocked with all the essentials. Loads of room for everyone. Ideal for those looking for a relaxing break.
