Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. Excellent location for visiting Thruxton Motor Circuit. Very clean and everything you need is provided. Sad that we only stayed for 1 night.

Nothing to dislike

Place was nice - but beds are very soft. Due to remote location taxis are very expensive and no takeaways unless you pay £30 for a kebab

We went to a wedding which was starting at 12pm - after travelling to the venue we realised there was no where to get ready nearby (pubs were closed etc) so kindly asked if we could use the WC and change before heading to the wedding venue, the host explained that the property wasn’t ready / cleaned yet which honestly was fine by us and saved changing in our cars - but the host made us feel uncomfortable about doing so and as we were changing after 5mins knocked on the door and asked how long we would be and suggested we didn’t leave our very few tidy bags in the property so the cleaner could clean. We didn’t actually have much time there overnight as was out for the majority of the evening so would have been nice our host acknowledge that and allow us 10mins to get dressed in private and if we are okay with it not being quite ready, not sure why they would mind so much?!

Quiet rural location . Comfortable beds. Spacious

Nothing stood out as being ‘bad’ about the property . We only had an overnight visit .
