"A picture perfect stay in rural Wiltshire. Ideal for visits to Bath."

The location was fantastic in a beautiful setting and the cottage was idyllic.

The large bed was too soft.

"I would definitely love to visit the cottage again. It is truly lovely."

9.0

The location is beautiful as is the cottage. It is warm and clean and everything was provided.

I would add that the mattress in the main bedroom is not great. But everything else was lovely

Cottage is nested within an extremely small village. It is very pretty cottage. Big rooms, big kitchen, good size bathroom, and good hot water access.

I wish they had more utensils. We were cooking, but there were lack of pans and ladles. We had to wash one to reuse it again. Otherwise Kitchen had everything.

The size of the cottage was ideal for just the two of us. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We decided to light the log burner but we couldn't find anything to light it with, but the lady from next door was extremely helpful and gave us a box of matches. Once it was lit the cottage soon warmed up and became very cosy. The location of Wells and Bath is amazing. The information pack that was in the cottage is full of really good useful advice for places to eat, visit and maps of the local area.

The lanes leading to the cottage were extremely tight and in some places no passing places. If you have a large car or 4×4 you would really struggle and be extremely stressed by the end of your journey. The turning into the parking space is a tight turn so you're better off reversing down the lane that runs down outside the cottage then driving into the parking space. I do feel that maybe there should be more information regarding the tightness of the roads, for some it's not a big problem driving in such tight situations but some people aren't used to driving in the countryside and it can be a bit stressful. Maybe give people a welcome pack with milk and bread? Just in case they turn up without it and they can't make a drink because there's no local shops you can just pop to. I do feel like I'm just trying to find something negative to say because to be honest it's a beautiful cottage in a stunning location.

"Lovely little cosy cottage"

8.0

Very pretty and quaint, with beautiful surroundings. Great geographical location to get out and about locally or further afield into Bath. Hosts were really helpful and friendly.

Was a bit musty downstairs, but perhaps to be expected with an older property.

Countryside location, lovely “hidden” spot, close to Bristol, Bath, Cotswold. The look & feel of the cottage and the cosy and complete kitchen.

Nothing, all perfect for our stay.

"Superb Cottage and hosts"

10.0

We had a wonderful, relaxing break in this gem of a cottage and its garden. It has superb tasteful decor and the hosts have thought of everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Very clean and organised. The host Stephanie was excellent at contact from the start and sent us detailed practical information about arrival, parking and local area. We drove into Bath for a day and the gorgeous Bradford upon Avon. The area around Bath is generally hilly and I'm not a very confident driver but Stephanie suggestion of accessing the cottage from the road from Winsley and parking at the top of the lane meant I was fine, even though we arrived late at night. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness - we had our lovely family break !
