"Don’t waste your money the lodge is reallly run down and needs a deep clean"

Cleanliness was absolutely diabolical, no cutlery in the draws on Christmas Eve. Rang on call no response received forks 11:15 Christmas Day!!

"Lovely relaxing weekend"

Lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. Nice quiet site and good location- 30 minute drive from York centre. Bar/ restaurant on site is lovely and got a nice cosy vibe.

"We absolutely loved it"

We visited the lucas lodge with our little dog and was so shocked when we arrived at how clean the place was. It was well decorated and felt like a home away from home. It was so spacious as well! Hot tub was also amazing and really private too as their is covers up at either side of the decking. The centre of York was only a 20 minute drive away which was an added bonus! Would recommend a visit it's a stunning city.

It was a nice property very cosy

Very nice lodge don’t get me wrong other than the fact it was riddled in earwigs and spiders everywhere you looked there was even 2 ear wigs on the bed My partner tried to get as many out as possible but one pricked her finger. There was also stains on all of the cushions but other than this couldn’t really fault it

Size was perfect for what we needed

We have stayed on this park a couple of times and we didn’t like the fact the microwave and TV (in bedroom) didn’t work, feel we have should have been told really.

The lodge was lovely, we had a lovely weekend away.

The lodge we booked had a faulty hot tub so we ended up next door that didn't have the privacy screens like Lucas lodge. The hot tub was locked on 40°c so it was too warm to stay in for long especially for the children.

Stunning location easy access to york

We ate in site once - the starters were huge - to the point that we couldn’t eat the main course (especially the children) but the main courses weren’t great but because we had to pay in advance we just walked away and didn’t complain - this issue has nothing to do with lodge we stayed in which was great
