The cabin is lovely

There was poo in the ensuite toilet when we arrived that hadn't been flushed. The customer service is awful, from the very beginning as I paid upfront but when they chased me for payment and I told them I'd paid they told me to take it up with booking.com. Just before you visit they send a long threatening email, with a list of details which would result in them keeping the full £200 deposit (such as breaking a glass, or not cleaning all the dishes and taking all bedsheets off before you leave, which I think is a lot to ask with a 10am check out), understand they need to explain certain rules but the way of doing it makes you feel very uncomfortable the entire time you're there. I also wanted to arrange beforehand a later check out, it was like getting blood out of a stone and the person kept trying to get off the phone from me, I had to talk over her as she was saying bye. We left a shirt at the cabin, it took 5 days of me chasing for them to confirm they had it and then they refused to send it out, asking me to collect instead when I live over 100 miles away. The jacuzzi is dirty as well, which was another worry as the email beforehand says if there is any dirt in the jacuzzi then they keep the entire deposit again. I've stayed in other places with jacuzzis and never had so much disgusting bits inside it. It's also really confusing to work and there's no instructions anywhere. There also isn't enough cooking utensils; no spatula, one pan, no oven mit. Nothing to clean the ledges with also.

The property was unreal, it was a lovely few days away and was extremely relaxing but I just wish we could’ve stayed longer. The deposit also came back into my bank within a few days which was great.

The message before you arrive with all rules and regulations are slightly scary and alarming which stops you from relaxing but I’m aware that rules have to be put in place. There was also an extremely loud neighbour which was a nuisance but other than these few points which are nothing major, the place was lovely and well worth visiting. We definitely want to come back.
