The Old Post Office - Giggleswick

Super location, less than 20 mins walk from Settle train station, easy on street parking and a really great pub just opposite. 3 decent sized bedrooms with all the facilities that we needed. Cosy house nicely decorated.

Be careful of steep stairs- not a negative but something to be aware of.

Lovely cosy cottage in an excellent location. Excellent kitchen and the beds were lovely. Would definitely stay again.

The light switch is not next to the door when you open it. You have to walk across the room in the dark. Maybe a touch next to the door? It’s only an issue when it’s very dark.

Not having to worry about taking towels, toilet roll/shower gel/shampoo/ t towels etc

No banister on the outside of the stairs. Folding bedroom door.

Loved the location. A very decent pub was just over the road, it was ten mins walk into Settle and the village was quiet. We had a perfect stay, lovely hikes and great food in the area Definitely come again

It was super and loads of plus points. Only thing might be a few things missing from the kitchen? Only if you were there longer than a few days though I wasn’t keen on the stairs but loved the fact that we could see exactly how this used to be the old post office was great

It was spacious, plenty of room for us to get about.

I had asked for a slightly earlier check in and this was granted, however when we entered the property it had not been thoroughly cleaned, there was an item of dirty underwear behind the sofa which luckily I had spotted before my young daughter did. Drawers also had items of clothing left from previous guests.
