The Old Post Office - Giggleswick

Fantastic stay! We took my dad away for his 80th birthday as he adores history and old properties so this was right up his street. The house was cosy and comfortable, my two young children were very content in their twin room and the facilities were great. The location was perfect in a lovely sleepy little village and a ten minute walk from settle railway station so we were able to leave the car and get around. The host was great and gave us plenty of info on the property and everything we needed was provided. It is on street parking only but that was no problem at all for us. Thankyou for such a lovely stay 10/10

Nothing, very happy with facilities, location and cleanliness. It is an old property so of course there is the odd cobweb or bit of dust but that didn’t bother us in The slightest

Great location for our short break and plenty of space. Our 2 children loved having their own rooms. It was very warm and cosy which was welcomed as it was wet and raining outside. Really useful having the washer dryer as our clothes were soaked from our walk to Malham Cove. The Black Horse pub across the road served excellent food and staff were really friendly.

We thought that parking might be difficult but it wasn’t at all - we were able to park just down the street. Suggestion for the owner to get pizza trays and a pizza slice for the kitchen.

Nothing not to like. Didn’t get to use the outdoor facilities but that was just due to weather and time of year

Couldn't find the remote for the downstairs tele! , luckily we didn't watch much on the television anyway so no biggie

Beds were comfy, the provision of blankets on the sofas were a nice touch. Well equipped and just generally a lovely place to stay. Was very warm for an old property

Would have liked a blind on the front door for privacy rather than having to pull the curtain over and blocking out all the light

Location was superb. Accommodation was lovely with the quaintness of a cottage but modern facilities that cater for everything. Also the pub directly over the road serves some of the best pub food we have ever had!

Lack of parking is the only issue and whether you are lucky enough to find a space on the street. Owner could maybe advise customers of nearest car park (if there is one) so if they aren’t able to park on the street they know where to go.
