Lovely homely stay with everything we possibly could have needed for a stay. The house was very clean and nicely decorated, also the extra finishing touches for our arrival were very nice and appreciated. The hosts were friendly and keen to offer any help. Communication was good and getting access to the house was nice and straight forward with no issues. Nice location too. We hope to return again at some point, thank you!

We couldn't get the programmes to work on the TV in the single room, but it was only a minor issue for us.

Firstly I have to admit when I see a negative review for a place it makes me uneasy and I hesitate to book. Fortunately however I decided to go with my gut instinct and trust the many good reviews that have been left rather than the single negative one as this place really is a ‘home from home’. (Although there were no comments left on the negative review so maybe an issue with that particular guest possibly I don’t know) Anyways speaking from personal experience, this is such a lovely place.. spotlessly clean, clearly a lot of care taken by the hosts to make your stay comfortable. Communication was great and all info was there meaning the self check-in was smooth. Comfy beds, plenty off-road parking, good wifi and well equipped kitchen. Location was pretty central to Stanhope and walking distance to all local shops and nice walks to unwind. I will for sure be staying again when I come to visit my lovely Grandma again 😊.
