7 Mersey Street, Borth-y-Gest

Absolutely stunning property, very cosy, we didn’t want to leave! If you’re planning on staying in the area then don’t look any further. Literal 1-2 minute walk to the cafe’s and sea front.

The location was perfect, I wished to visit the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, and the cottage was just a twenty minute walk from the station. The cottage was clean, well-appointed and parking wasn't a problem.

As a tall person, I would have appreciated some cushioning, or at least a warning sticker, on the top of the bathroom door!

The cottage itself was lovely. The location was exceptionally good, walking distance to the beach, cafe, and restaurant. Short drive to town with harbour and steam railway. Also to other beautiful beaches. We absolutely loved it.

Would have benefitted with a freezer and a washing line up the garden to dry washing, as clothes horse weren't big enough. The neighbours kindly lent us there's as an extra.

Cosy cottage that was really relaxing and made us feel at home. Beds were very comfortable. The cottage was easy to keep warm, there was everything we needed in the kitchen and the it was very clean. Lots of local attractions, walks and beach on doorstep. Owers were really helpful 🙂

We travelled visited here with our 2 and 3 year old girls. They loved being 50m from the beach, and round the corner from the steam trains. Its a lovely little cottage, just far enough from porthmadog to be quiet, but close enough to be walking distance from the pub.

Stunning location. Well furnished. Cosy home. Very clean. Comfy beds. Quirky but well equipped.

Bath needs replacing with a shower. Too small to use and nowhere to hang the shower head and no shower curtain.
