Parking a nightmare constant emails during a 3 day trip

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped in a good location. Excellent kitchen facilities. Good to have access to streaming facilities.

When using the bath / showers a dreadful smell of drains/sewage stayed in the bathrooms for hours afterwards. The double bed was up against a wall in a small room - only really suitable for one person. Accommodation for 6 people, but only 5 dining chairs. Several light bulbs were not working, A secondary double glazing panel in the double room was missing, making this room considerably colder than the others. The central heating was not simple to use, and appeared to be controlled remotely from elsewhere. It was after 8pm on the day of arrival, and only after a few emails, that we were given the PIN code to put the heating on. Several areas of chipped paint and mould on the bedroom windows on the first floor behind the secondary double glazing, made for an uncared for appearance. I have used Booking.com for several years, but never have I been bombarded with so many emails in the 10 days before arrival - many were repeats, This alone would deter me from booking this property again.

Location was very good, plenty of shops and bars nearby

Parking was by permit and could be difficult at busy times. A short walk from the property. Difficulty getting the heating on at first but it was resolved after we contacted the company.

Too many annoying little notes and messages dotted around the accommodation telling what to and not to do.

Great house near the heart of Scarborough. It was about a 20 minute walk to the beachfront through the main shopping area. Also very convenient to the grocery store - right behind the house.

It was a bit of a chore to figure out parking and bag transfer to the house.
