Pebble Cottage by Coast & Country Stays

Almost everything. Beds and towels were superb, good lounge armchair with 2 large sofas that were too deep. Excellent kitchen and bathroom, and TVs in every room. Very warm heating. Free car parking close by.

No soap and shampoo in shower/bath. Toaster has 2 slots working (out of 4). The WiFi was impossible to use, which was a first for us. Anywhere else, you just see the service in Settings and add the password. Not here. I texted immediately but didn't get a reply until we had left after 3 days, and that was over-complicated.

Location, comfy beds and sofa. Nice decoration

Not clean. Stove top was covered in grease and the worktops were sticky. I had to clean the bath before use too as slimy texture round the bottom like bubble bath or shampoo or something had not been cleaned up from Previous guests. Boiler constantly on, house was really hot!! And it was making a noise like it was constantly filling with water?

The parking or lack of is a bit of a pain but it was quiet in Seahouses so it wasn’t to bad

Some maintenance required on small things, left feedback in notebook. Outside mains water pipe is leaking badly and needs urgent attention.

This property was perfectly located in Seahouses. Clean and tidy, homely, cosy feel. Perfect for a family weekend trip away.

No complaints

The cottage was in a great location, a few minutes walk from shops, harbour and the local pubs. The cottage had all what was needed for a stay of 2 weeks for a family of 4 and a dog. The beds are comfortable, bathroom large & clean and the kitchen fully equiped. A great place to explore Northumberland, walk the coastal route and even take the train to Edinburgh.

We didn't like the tone of voice in the correspondence / information received from the agency. There was a lot of 'not allowed, don't do ' and not enough of a you are very welcome in the cottage. I expect they've had trouble in the past but it doesn't sound very welcoming and trusting. There is no parking but we suggest booking a parking space through Just Park, only 3min walk away. Spending the extra cash is worth it and saves the hassle of finding a space. Other than that the house was perfect for us and we were very happy to be there, enjoying Seahouses and the Northumberland coast & country!
