Great location 👌 Lovely accommodation with comfortable beds. Only fault plumbing not great,shower needs looked at , water trickles out.

Hassle with neighbors when parking.

Lovely cottage which was very spacious inside. Only my husband and myself stayed but can accomodate up to 6. Would definitely stay here again.

We heating was very sporadic and we were unable to control the thermostat so we left it to please itself. It didn't affect the stay though.

Had the misfortune to arrive in the middle of a storm that resulted in issues with the electricity supply. Unfortunately, there was no heating or hot water on the first night. Contacted the out of hours number and someone was there within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do with the heating but he did bring logs for the log burner and offered us a move to a different location. We decided to stick it out and fortunately the power came on the next day. Everyone we spoke to was very helpful. Cottage is very spacious, bathroom was large, the two double rooms were quite large.

Parking. There are double yellow lines outside the cottage, we were told to park on the "Private Road" opposite but this was quite full with most of the vacant spaces having traffic cones in them. Could really do with a second toilet but I knew it only had one when I booked so can't complain.

We experienced a lot of issues and despite trying to get in touch with someone in the numbers provided, nobody returned our calls or responded to our messages. When I returned home, I emailed again outlining my concerns and disappointment. Still…nobody had been in touch…I returned home 6 weeks ago! I think that’s long enough to wait to write my review: No hot water; issues with the TV; fan oven not working and nobody available to offer support. What a disappointment. A very poor experience - I wouldn’t return.

The property is very handsome with good spaces. We liked the high ceilings and large rooms. The location is great. It's generally very well equipped and really felt like a home from home.

The house was very warm, which initially was good as it was 1 degree outside! But the thermostats don't work well so we were way too hot! The wooden floors were lovely but dirty and some crockery, etc, needed to be washed before use. The master room bed mattress needs replacing as dips badly on each side so feels like a hammock! Generally some maintenance is required to keep it staying nice. Parking is first come first served on the road directly opposite and we always got parked, but in the summer this may not be the case.

Very comfortable and everything you need is provided.

Shower temperature was difficult to control.

Gorgeous cottage, very homely.

No fire gloves to add wood onto the fire. we did read to bring our own wood however no mention of gloves so had to use the oven mitts.

Good location, clean, spacious and homely feeling

Advertised a log burner which we were looking forward to. It is there, but alas no logs!
