The Bala House

The location is really very good, as it's literally 2-3 minutes walk from the High Street. Nice clean property & the hosts were amazing in communication. Very friendly locations. The house has got fully equipped kitchen, the beds are comfy and the toilets are nice & clean too.

The house, specially downstairs took quite a long time to get warm but it's quite understandable as guests probably keep on coming & going and the heating probably doesn't stay On all the time. But otherwise the House is absolutely superb.

There was a leak in the property which necessitated switching off the heating. Apparently this was only picked a few minutes before guests arrived, just after 4pm. There was water on the shower floor and dripping through the ceiling. The cover to the boiler switch was smashed which made that appear dangerous.A plumber was called and he couldn’t repair the issue. An alternative solution was found, in 2 apartments, but they consisted of 2 double beds and 2 sofa beds. Whilst the owners, who were away, did address the issue it seemed very last minute and given 2 of the party had mobility needs it proved very inconvenient. A phone call to the guests explaining and showing some empathy would have helped

Great location, parking permits on arrival

Leaking shower, property not overly clean, dirty throws on the sofa. No internet code sent onto us, Key code was incorrect delaying entrance to the property.
