Lovely cottage the bed was so comfortable really enjoy staying here for my birthday weekend will definitely book again lovely couple that own the cottage so friendly & welcoming & hottub was amazing the whole home was clean highly recommend great peaceful location with mountain views. Nice local places to eat too.

There was nothing we didn't like .

The owner is so so welcoming, nothing is too much, the cottage is clean, spacious and clearly high spec. Its warm, the hot tub is heated, beds comfortable and just a beautiful little stay.

Alison was lovely, really friendly and welcoming. The cottage was very cosy and spotlessly clean. It a pretty rural area, but only a short drive into Abergavenny

The only real issue was the step down into the living room area. It is quite a large step that is easily missed as the same tiles run through out the ground floor.

EVERYTHING!!! From the moment you arrive outside and are greeted by Alison to stepping inside, everything is just WOW. There is nothing you need when you are there, from the facilities in the kitchen and bathrooms to the hot tub. This is the perfect getaway. I booked this as a surprise for my OH birthday, and it did not fail to impress and make his birthday special. The lovely gestures put into place by Alison for his birthday were so kind and thoughtful. The fire and the simplicity but yet fully equipped lounge were just idyllic. We went and had the intention of going for strolls. We were so happy and content there, and even though we had a snowfall, it only added to the beauty of this place. We even utilised the hot tub of an evening in the cold and snow. However we were not perturbed by this as it was perfect once in and when you were back inside with the warmth and a beautiful shower after it was a dream to have a beer or a glass of wine and forgot about everything. You will never feel cold here, Alison had the fire roaring and the heating on for our arrival, and she is so welcoming you feel like you already know her. You are left, and it you truly forget there is anyone near. If you do need anything, Alison is just a message away and so responsive. I didn't see the log cupboard, and when I asked Alison about logs, she responded immediately and asked Dean, and it was full of logs, I just didn't spot the container. I can not emphasise just how much we loved this place and just how good it did us to be there. There is a pub approximately 1.5 miles away and we were going to stroll to it, but didn't miss not popping out, we went for a little stroll in the snow, which was very nice and so peaceful and scenery just beautiful. I actually feel like I've lost something so nice now that I'm back to reality. However we will definitely be returning.
