Lion Cottage - Dog-Friendly 3-Bed in Heart of Holt

Central location.

No curtains or a blind at the kitchen window for privacy and only a thin voile in the twin bedroom that gave no privacy or blocked out any light. Stairs very steep.

A really cosy little cottage, the kitchen was a good size and well equipped with a table seating 6 easily. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and showers good. The communication from the host was very good, she kept in touch to check how our stay was going and gave us lots of information. We were right in the middle of the town centre, which was great, Holt is a lovely little town.

The only minus was that the sofa bed wasn't comfortable.

Stairs were very steep and the toilet valve had broken so water continuously which kept me awake.

Once we re-read the information, it was easier to find the property - enter at the back!

We were looking for the street & cottage with a blue frontage and a key lock box. We did go up and down the road for a bit and round and round. I nearly had to contact the owners. ( The back entrance is in an alleyway/path and not on any road.) However, once we found it, the location was fabulous.

Perfect location for a mid week break. Cottage very clean, plenty of space, comfortable beds, right in the middle of town. Stairs a bit.challenging for anyone travelling with children or anyone with restricted mobility - unaware of this when booking. We had a lovely break.

The location in the centre of Holt was perfect. Holt is a lovely town with lots of independent shops to explore. The showers were excellent. The cottage was lovely and warm. The facilities in the kitchen were excellent.

The steep stairs to the 1st and 2nd floors, although fine for us not for someone with mobility issues or young children. Need to supply bath sheets rather than bath towels and another towel when washing your hair.
