Oyster Catcher Cottage - Harbour Bowl, Sea Views

Just a gorgeous well planned out cottage full of comfort and warmth. Highly recommend to anyone.

Great location overlooking the harbour.... very close to town and easy to walk everywhere. Property had everything you wanted and nice touches like a pint of milk and coffee etc

Property is great and can't fault Would recommend putting on instructions/making it clear not to drive up to the cottage... especially not in an suv as you can't turn and have to reverse thought the tightest roads

Super charmant huisje met een prachtig uitzicht op de haven vanuit de slaapkamer.

De bedden voor de kinderen waren echt klein en voor onze jongens te klein, 11 en 15 jaar.

Fantastic location and really comfortable space. A brilliant base for a break away in Brixham, the house had all the amenities we needed. It was so quiet and a 2 minute walk to the centre. Support was very responsive to questions and queries.

The upstairs spaces were a little smaller than expected, though not that we feel we were mislead, we just thought the pictures suggested they were bigger.

Split up on three levels. Basement (living room) was dark and slightly cold . Hard up steps to cute garden .

The location comes up tops. Right in the centre of Brixham harbour. Close to the bus station and ferries. The property inside was clean and tidy. However, the outside near the kitchen area could have been cleaner. The bed linen was fresh and the bathrooms were well equipped with towels. The view from the top floor of the harbour is a treat especially in the early morning.Overall it was a comfortable stay. In a well equipped cottage.

I contacted Saltwater escapes during my stay as we could not get WiFi. Also a small open area (outside)adjacent to the lounge smelt of fish as a couple of fishing nets had been left there. This made the lounge initially smell of fish especially with the hot weather. Outside by the kitchen door a doggie bag had been left on the floor which I had to remove . On arrival the large black waste collection bag full of rubbish had been left right outside the main entrance door Which rather spoilt first impressions. It was there for three days until it was collected at the end of our stay. Saltwater escape did not respond to my email.
