"If the cottage is available next time we visit Chester, we won’t be staying in a hotel."

It was local to the city centre, 10 min slow walk, and as close as you could get to the racecourse. It felt like your home not a hotel. You had every possible amenity at this cottage. Bev, who met us at the property was so helpful, and such a lovely lady.

Nothing to dislike.

"Friendly host, comfortable bed and excellent location."

The house is in an excellent location, only 2minutes walk away from the city walls and less than 10minutes to the centre of town. It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were all well equipped and the beds very comfortable! Bev was very friendly and helpful, an excellent host providing links to activities we could do with our young children. We would definitely recommend the house and would also stay here again if visiting Chester in the future.

The noise of the traffic is quite loud but that is completely out with the control of the property owners due to the location. A little traffic noise is worth an excellent location!

"A lovely “home from home” property, ideally situated for exploring Chester City Centre."

We really felt welcomed by Bev (our host), as she met us at the property when handing over the keys and provided us with advice/guide for sightseeing and walks in Chester and local areas of interest. The property is ideally situated and only a short walk into Chester City Centre, and provided us with a real “home from home” experience. We highly recommend this lovely property to enjoy all that Chester has to offer!

Great location for the wall, river and canals and Bev was extremely helpful. A very comfortable stay. Private parking was a bonus.

Toilet flush is very loud so don’t flush at night.

"Great stay very close to central Chester"

A fab little home from home, with everything needed for a great, comfortable stay. Very well located, only about 15mins walk into the city centre, plus you can access a lovely walk following the river into the centre from a footpath just across the road. Parking was a big help. Hosts were very helpful and kind, giving me all details needed, and even calling to check about heating as there was some unexpected cold weather.
