Host & Stay - Middle Farmhouse

House was well styled with comfy clean beds and plenty of room

Needed deep clean. No soft seating for outside only a rustic bench for 6 we were a party of eight. Garden was rough. Window needed a good wash outside. Shower with dirty corners. Oven and grill had not been cleaned after the the last residents. Some walls needed a paint.

It was modern and clean, the beds were really comfy. Loved that it had a coffee machine.

We found it hard to find as the maps doesn’t take you to the property, it takes thou further down than it is. We had to ask the locals who kindly helped us find it.

Sent over half a dozen emails with regards the fridge freezer not working and all i got was some third party being unhelpful. Even though everyone was aware we had a one year old in the party and my wife’s medication that needed to be chilled. Cleaning standards also poor. All this for a premium price of £400 per nights stay. Did i mention all the trip hazards all around the front entrance. We even had to borrow a fridge from the nearby pub and carry it over and back at the end of our stay. Zero support from the host, so poor. Some people just want to take your money and put their head in the sand. Just as well you have so much sand in the surrounding area. BTW thanks to Chris and his lovely wife for saving the day in the Stiddy Pub.

Location great. Place was everything we needed.

Sofas were a bit too uncomfortable so couldn't really use them. No sign near road so took us ages to actually find the property. In the end we had to ask someone in the pub who luckily knew where it was. A simple sign or map sent with info on before checking in would be all that is needed.

Location was amazing. Property was a good size, well furnished and cozy.

Could do with a deep clean - especially the windows and there were woodlice around the sink area.

Nothing. My family picked this accommodation as it was close to my nieces wedding Monday just gone. Very happy with everything.

The house needed a thorough clean, quite dirty.

Nice large house with great bedrooms and kitchen area. Great private garden at the back of the house which was good for dogs.
