Cheerful Fisherman,s Cottage

Very nice and beautifully restored old fisherman’s cottage right in the centre of St Ives. Cottage was really well equipped and very clean with everything you’d need. Location was fabulous with the gorgeous Porthmeor beach only a minutes walk and a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and shops all within a few minutes walk from the cottage.

As many reviews mention the location is perfect. You are seconds from the harbour and shops. The cottage has everything you could want. I must admit I didn’t use most things – I didn’t want to spend my break cooking, washing and ironing. WiFi is good. The stairs are a bit narrow which may not suit everyone but this is clearly stated in the listing. I’d be very happy to book this cottage again if I returned to St. Ives.

Location was brilliant. Good facilities, excellent shower, comfy bed, cosy atmosphere.

Location couldn’t have been better for us. Quiet with no traffic or people noise even on very busy days in St Ives. Paul was very kind and helpful. Everything was perfect with loads of character, clean, well equipped. Couldn’t have asked for more. This takes work and commitment so well done team Cheerful!
