Cheerful Fisherman,s Cottage

Location was awesome. Close short walk to all beaches and the heart of St Ives. Plenty of amenities for cooking.

Some hostels Airbnbs provide shower soap gel and shampoo. We did bring our own. Not a problem. Ideas for future residents. Nothing too negative about the property. Unloading and loading can be a bit challenging due to the location of the property down a narrow alley.

The location was superb and the cottage was absolutely adorable. Very clean, good towels and shower! Nice and warm and well equipped.

Only criticism was the basin in the bathroom didn't drain very well.

Location was 10/10 with a 1 min walk to Portmeor beach and all restaurants and shops on your doorstep. The cottage was in a quiet street and had lots of character, it felt safe to be walking back at night. The kitchen has everything you could need including dishwasher tablets, cleaning equipment etc although we ate out most of the time. The cottage is small but has a lot of character and is nicely furnished including a cozy fireplace and a tv in every room!. The top room is on the 4th floor but it was nice to have the exercise. The Hosts were very kind and attentive, any questions we had were answered super quickly on WhatsApp. they even allowed us to check out later so we could enjoy our last day without lugging suitcases. We had such a wonderful stay in such a beautiful part of the land.

We noticed a few glasses with lipstick marks which may have been left by the previous guests, but everything else was very clean

Location right in the centre. Ideal for a short break

Strong pet odor, urine, and overpowering air freshener plug ins. Parking was over a mile away at the top of a hill. We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else. Out a lot of money due to nonrefundable fees.

The cottage was right in the middle of St Ives, very short walk to great sandy beaches and lovely pubs. The bakers on the corner from the cottage was to die for, we got breakfast treats everyday.

The rugby club was out of st ives, but a reserved space and bus that took us, dog and luggage to the cottage all for £3.00 which left every 10 mins. We didn't use the car all week. No a bad point just be aware it's a steep hill if you walk

The location was excellent at st Ives a couple of minutes from the harbour , beach , shops and restaurants.
