Twitchill Farm Cottages, Indoor Heated Pool, Peak District

Fantastic location, amazing views, easy access to walking routes. The swimming pool was our favourite feature and we spent hours in there each day after getting back from trips out. Three of our number also enjoyed early morning swims. We had both cottages, for twelve people, and found the cottages clean and comfortable. For three nights we cooked our evening meal in the cottage. On our final night we had takeaway pizzas from 1530 restaurant in Castleton and we highly recommend them.

There was nothing we didn't like, but a minor inconvenience when cooking large meals was that some of the kitchen utensils have seen better days, eg tin opener, scissors, knives.

The cottage location was perfect. Straight onto the footpath to Win Hill for the walkers in the group. A short drive to many little villages for the shoppers in the group. Not forgetting the pool and lovely large garden area for everyone to enjoy.

Leaving, could have easily done a few more days

Great location for a walking weekend with friends. Facilities were comprehensive and the pool was an added bonus after a long day hiking.

Location is fantastic for walkers, scenery amazing the swimming pool is a great bonus. The cottages are lovely, clean and fresh.

Only 2 toilets between 16 people was a bit of a challenge, an extra toilet would make the cottages superb
