Curlew Cottage

The property was in an ideal and very quiet location. Very clean with everything needed for our stay. Although remote, there are Co-ops in Broadford and Portree that were well stocked and locally there is a good local store in Dunvegan.

Its being picky but we did think there terrace could have been a little larger but it wasn't a problem, just an observation

Despite being ‘remote’ feeling in setting (waking up to the sun on the loch, empty hills and the sound of curlews), the cottage is perfect distance from most sites on Skye - we saw so much over our stay, and always had a wonderful home to come back to. We found ourselves wishing for inclement weather just so we could relax on the sofa with the fire going, watching the clouds roll by!!! Cannot wait to stay here again, the most magical location for a couple

Lovely location on a quiet side road overlooking the top of the loch. The owner organised for a new oil heater to be delivered when the one in the property was not working.

Dat we een eigen huisje hadden met alles wat je nodig hebt met prachtig uitzicht over het water. Fijne tuin en klein terrasje buiten. Heel knus.

Dat het raam in de slaapkamer niet open kon. Dit was tijdelijk dus als het goed is, kan hij nu gewoon wel open. Was fijn geweest als we dit van tevoren hadden geweten.

Beautiful cottage in awesome setting

Ostört läge. Välutrustat och rent. Alla små, underbara och genomtänkta detaljer i boendet. Stort fönster/dörr som gick öppna helt. Lugnet. Fåren utanför. Sköna sängar. Mysiga extra pläd. Enkelt in/utcheckning. Perfekt parkering precis bredvid. Te/kaffe, kryddor, tvättmedel.

Vi gillade allt men som förbättringsförslag - borde vara bra med en torkställning.

Wij verbleven hier tijdens een weekend op Isle of Skye. Het biedt een prima uitvalsbasis om het eiland te verkennen. Ook is het een zeer ruime en complete accommodatie met schitterend uitzicht!

Voor eetgelegenheden dien je een stukje te rijden.
