Curlew Cottage

The view is incredible with all the sheep. Very comfortable cabin.

The cottage was very lovely, the view was beautiful. The farm next door raises sheep so that made it superb, watching the baby lambs.The bed was comfortable, good shower, cooking facilities were quite good. Overall the setting makes it more enjoyable.

The directions to the property were inadequate. The address says Eyre and it isn’t in Eyre at all. We drove quite a ways the wrong way .You should be given accurate information, distances and landmarks. It’s quite confusing to get there! There are no instructions except manuals to read to try and figure out how to use the stove, tv, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. I don’t pay $300 a night to sit and read manuals. They are all confusing for those of us unfamiliar with these types of appliances. We never did figure out the Roku and how to turn tv on. The cottage inside needs a fresh paint job. The bathroom is particularly in need. Dusty baseboards, balls of fluff by the bed. Bedroom window is locked so insufficient air in bedroom. It is a cute place and decor is quite lovely & it is comfortable. Some issues and for the price we expect little more.

Amazing property, clean and cosy. Excellent location for everything we wanted to do. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Skye

Only one small thing there is no TV Remote, you need to use the Roku app on your phone. We had to work this out for ourselves but its a very minor issue

This private cottage in the country was unbelievable! We loved the layout of the cottage and were able to utilize the washer/dryer to do laundry. The picture window faces water and a whole field of sheep; the sheep were a source of constant amusement. This location provided a great place to travel around Skye - the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr are within easy driving distance. We stayed for 3 nights and still hating leaving!
