1 Hope Cottage

The property was ideally situated for us, as we were attending an event nearby over the bank holiday weekend. The area was quiet, peaceful, and scenic. The cottage itself was very clean and well appointed, cosy & comfortable, and included thoughtful touches, such as complimentary toiletries, biscuits & milk. The back garden was really lovely. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to come back again before long.

Location was lovely access to the surrounding areas, and information books were informative

Beautiful peaceful location. Cottage had everything you needed and more. Fab comfortable stay.

Welcoming touch of plum loaf & milk in fridge. Picturesque village steeped in history with good walks. Lovely surroundings with orchard garden & picnic table. Good kitchen facilities with everything you needed. Comfortable bed with good quality duvet & pillows.

Arrived on a very cold day in January-the heating that had been left on for us (thank you) had not quite kicked in. However there were instant convector heaters to put us on. The upstairs storage heaters controls may need tweaking. After first day the cottage was very warm & cosy.

A cosy front room which had been decorated for Christmas. - we stayed over the New Year period. The sofas were really comfortable and the cottage warm and welcoming. The garden area leading out to a lovely orchard - in the summer this would, no doubt, we a delightful spot.
